Food and farming changemakers all over Australia are working on regenerative solutions to the climate crisis and the problems we face. These solutions are grounded in care for people and planet. Sustainable Table exists to fund these change makers, share their stories and cultivate regeneration.
They do this in 3 ways:

1. Industry Connection

They develop and nurture regenerative food and farming industry networks, knowledge and capacity through targeted support.

2. Funding Support

They connect regenerative projects and change makers with philanthropic funds and aligned impact investors.

3. Storytelling and Education

They collaborate with our industry to share stories that deepen knowledge about regenerative food and farming and empower people to act on the many possibilities for change.

About the Regenerative Map

What is the map, and why did they create it?

Sustainable Table’s Regenerative Food and Farming Map is the first of its kind in Australia. The map gives visibility across the industry and enables connection, collaboration and knowledge sharing. It connects conscious eaters and values-aligned funding partners to regenerative projects and businesses.

As the map grows and extends its reach, it will provide valuable insights into the regenerative food and farming industry — what it looks like as a whole, what is happening on the ground and where it might lead in the future.

Sustainable Table as an Eligibility Partner

The Regenerative Food & Farming Map application is designed to help Sustainable Table understand a business or organisation’s commitment to regenerating Australian food and farming through their work and to gather valuable insights about the industry as a whole. It is a self-assessment tool that allows you to share the regenerative practices you carry out on the ground, from land stewardship practices to how they collaborate with others in the industry.

Levenvale Farm: home to Bello Beef is featured on the map

Sustainable Table’s Industry Development team has a broad level of knowledge and experience in local food systems and farming. They review applications initially at face value within the context of their relevant sector and with the understanding that regeneration is a journey. The assessment process focuses on transparency, trust and relationships. This process is not equivalent to certification or on-site verification. Their team does not seek perfection, but rather sincere commitment and indication of being on the regenerative journey.

Applications take 30-60 minutes to complete. Applications are reviewed fortnightly and listings may take 4 to 6 weeks to appear if approved.

Learn how they assess applications and more by exploring the Regen Map FAQs.
